Kids Weekday Programming
We have a lot of various programs that happen throughout the week. Check out the different ways to get connected!
Midweek
Wednesdays, 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Birth – 5th Grade
Led by our nurturing leaders, “Kids Midweek” is a time where love, learning, and laughter intertwine. Together with other kids their own age, your children will form friendships, engage their imagination, and spark a lifelong love for God’s truth. Midweek is open to all, birth-5th grade and is free of charge. We are currently operating on a waitlist and would love for you to consider volunteering so that we can open our doors to more kids.
After School Place
Monday – Friday 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Kindergarten – Fifth Grade
The After School Place offers a comprehensive and affordable program for families with children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Operating from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on school days, it provides homework assistance, snacks, Bible lessons, tutoring, and academic enrichment activities. The program includes transportation from local schools in the community. With a small teacher-child ratio, kids are able to build meaningful relationships with their peers and adults. They are given opportunities to collaborate and be creative, to dive deeper into their studies and just be kids.
We operate daily in accordance with the Pittsburgh Public Schools schedule. Cost is $60/month/student.
Alliance Bible Quizzing
Sundays 10:00am
3rd – 12th Grade
This initiative focuses on building character, fostering self-discipline, encouraging prayer and unity, and preparing young individuals to serve in various ministry roles. Through memorization, participants develop a love for the Bible, with its teachings influencing their lives. Teamwork in Bible Quizzing cultivates empathy and reliance on the Lord for achieving goals, offering a biblical perspective for everyday life and facilitating the application of scriptural principles.
One to One Program
We understand that every child requires different levels of support to be successful in a classroom setting. We have been supporting families of neurodiverse kids in this way for many years. If you have questions or concerns about your child’s participation in programming, please fill out the form below and we will contact you. We will work together on a plan that will set your child up for success. This may involve extra helpers in the classroom, individual attention, or pulling children out for skill-focused sessions during the service. We want your family to be able to come to church and feel confident that your kids are well cared for.
